Even the “father” of social psychology, Kurt Lewin, resonated with Srila Prabhupada’s idea that word jugglery wouldn’t really help to solve the world’s problems. “Describing and explaining socio-psychological processes by concepts and laws of physics or physiology might at best be something to talk about as a distant possibility for a speculative philosopher. But such a way would definitely not be a realistic research program for attacking the socio-psychological problems of today” (Lewin, 1939). So, we’ve to align with Krishna’s peace formula (Bhagavad Gita, 5.29) : “A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all sacrifices and austerities, the Supreme Lord of all planets and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries.”
