Leaders in the present age of hypocrisy and quarrels are confronted with the challenge of gaining trust and getting commitment from members of their communities, if they expect to guide their communities to the “promised land” in a world that is highly globalized. When communities perceive the behavior of leaders as trustworthy, trust surges and such leadership could be deemed as an emblem of ethical stewardship. We cannot underestimate the significance of ethical stewardship in relationships that are based on trust.
